Been looking for a scaler for a long time. They don't seem to have them in department stores anymore. I have searched. Never though about looking in Amazon, but I did and there it was. This scaler is great.

It is really easy to clean with soap, water, and a scrub sponge but watch your fingers so the teeth don't bite.

I tried to position my fish-holding-hand to cover where I was descaling and that seemed to help quite a bit and I only got a handful of scales escaping onto the counter and floor
